Howdy's Camp near Oklahoma City, OK

The place was in excellent shape with new facilities. They do need some sort of barrier between them and I-40.

The pool was amazing, love the design with flowing waterfalls and floats. Wish it stayed open later. Pool and hot tub dont open until 11am and closes at 7pm. Showers and bathrooms can be accessed after hours which was nice since its inside the office/event center. Nice level pads, dog park has some rough shrubs growing inside it hard for my dog to walk on. It is right off the highway so if highway noises or trucks bother you at night (as its right next door to truck stop) this is not the place for you. Front desk gentleman was very nice and helpful though - even though he instructed us incorrectly on which way our camper should face and how to pull into it which we figured it out and looped back around not a big deal. We'd definitely stay here again!

This is one of the nicest RV Resorts we’ve ever been to. The outdoor was the highlight for my family! Full service hookups and more pull through sites than I could imagine. We will definitely be back and I would recommend Howdy’s Camp RV Resort to anyone looking for a nice place to stop, or stay for a longer period. 10/10

This is a hidden gem rv resort right off the road of 66. It has adorable walking trails and the kids playground but I love bus is the pool and event center. It’s really nice and decorated so cute.

Perks: The owners are nice people. The trails are cool and the park being in the woods is a nice touch for summer days with the kids. The pool just opened but it is beautiful. I have four kids and my husband is a CDL driver so he's not home often so we didn't use the pool during our stay due to me juggling four kids alone is overwhelming. The laundry room open all night was really nice so that my husband could wash his work clothes when he got home late at night. Nobody bothers each other in the park so that's really nice. It's a quiet location foot traffic wise. We never went inside the office so I can't speak on it but they have big plans for the place so I'm sure it will grow and be awesome. I like the RV store and the Gas station right next to the park. Downsides: Being next to the Truck stop we smelled cattle haulers often. The highway was a bit loud for people looking for quiet country setting. The owners are very strict about presence so our old truck that tows our rig had to leave the property to be painted which while it needed it and we didn't mind having it painted the conversation left a sour taste in my husbands mouth and he has felt upset ever since which hindered our stay. As monthly residents new to RV life the electricity bill threw me off being higher than our shops cooling bill at over 300 dollars for our month but I won't complain much as it has been VERY hot. The grass and trees get watered by sprinklers every morning and evening which wets the granite road and stuck to the wheel wells of my car causing my sensors to malfunction and ABS light to come on. This was addressed with taking my car to get the wheel wells sprayed out but was unexpected as normal gravel has never done that. Overall it wasn't a bad stay and I enjoyed the peace after living at Rockwell for a month where my car was repeatedly broken into. It was peaceful and I enjoyed the stay. My husband I can't speak to much on as he was very offended in conversation with the owner over our truck. It's a good location for kids truly and the owners are nice. You'll enjoy staying here too. I wish them all the best.

We are spending our very first night here, and we already know we will be staying longer then a month! The campground is absolutely beautiful and has such a welcoming vibe. What really blew us away right from the start is how incredibly nice the owners are. They have made our booking and first evening here such a pleasant experience. We are so excited for all of our upcoming monthly stays!

The event space was nice and had an amazing counter/kitchen area that was set up nicely for serving food. Nice and spacious as well! We will definitely be using y'all again for future birthdays.
